The Truth About Shane Gillis Hosting The ESPY Awards

Hey everyone, today’s video is on Shane Gillis hosting the 33rd Annual Espy Awards earlier this month and how his performance and monologue was received. I watched the monologue several times and really enjoyed just about each and every joke that Shane made (please leave a comment calling me a Shane Gillis glazer that will totally show me) and the crowd for a lot of the jokes seemed to be on board. He talked about Jon Jones, Donald Trump, the WNBA, Caitlin Clarke, Aaron Rodgers, and even quoted a legendary Norm Macdonald O.J Simpson joke at the end of his monologue to show respect. A lot of publications came out and said that Shane bombed and struggled but it appeared that Shane was pretty comfortable and had a lot of fun during the monologue. Then Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg went on the view and criticized Shane’s performance which yielded a hilarious response from Matt McCusker and Shane on their podcast. All in all, I thought this was a grand slam home run and Shane did exactly what he should’ve done up there.
